We were approached by high end restaurant The Hengist to create a stylish brochure and accompanying menus to showcase there festive food and drink offerings.
While a lot of our work surrounds large format print, we enjoy getting creative on some smaller projects too! At Imagink have a highly skilled team of designers who can create beautifully bespoke artwork for your business cards, menus, flyers and brochures.
The Hengist wanted a design to match their eccentric British style with a recognisable festive feel. It was important to move away from the designs of previous years which embodied a blue and silver colour palette, which The Hengist felt no longer matched the decor and feel of their restaurant. We had a narrow brief to create a brochure that was elegant and attractive with a theme that could be carried forward into the aesthetics and decorations for the restaurant over the festive period.
“The design is really beautiful, we are so happy with it!” - Jessica Harvey, Assistant Manager
For the design we paired a delicate calligraphy font with a number of stylised illustrations of holly, poinsettias and mistletoe. The illustrative elements were combined to create wreaths and borders to both frame and decorate the pages. The menus were kept simple yet decorative, making use of clean lines to separate sections and a serif font to compliment the script titles.
Comprising of fourteen pages in total the booklet includes details of the various dining rooms and festive offerings including a Christmas Day menu, Christmas Party menu, Boxing Day Brunch, New Year’s Eve menu, Festive Afternoon Tea and Drinks Packages.
We’re on the hunt for ambitious projects, tell us about yours!
